Center based Individual & group development
The AID for Child Development team provides comprehensive services for children with differences and special needs, including an in-depth evaluation of the child by a multidisciplinary team consisting of a special education specialist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, behavioral therapist, modified sports specialist, and other specialists as needed. The assessments are designed to determine the type and severity of disability and then to provide an early intervention program tailored to the child’s specific needs.
The rehabilitation unit at the center provides therapeutic interventions for children with disabilities through a multidisciplinary team in which tasks overlap in a coherent and integrated manner to create a clear picture of the child’s situation and needs.
Furthermore, in addition to rehabilitation programs, the center offers ongoing training and awareness programs for their families and the local communities.

Community Service and Volunteering
This program, which is open to young people of all nationalities, aims to increase youth community service engagement in Lebanon. The program’s activities are aimed at empowering and educating young people in order to promote the spirit of citizenship, teamwork, equality, and rights, where youth-based programs contribute to community activities aimed at sending awareness and supporting children with children and preparation needs, in parallel with building the awareness of these youth towards important issues such as environmental and development issues, through the implementation of a number of initiatives.

Integration & environments enabling
Advocating for and enabling inclusive education is essential to the AID for Child Development initiative, which is defined by the Salamanca Statement as “recognition of the need to work towards ‘schools for all’ / institutions which include everybody, celebrate differences, support learning, and respond to individual needs”.
The AID for Child Development team leads a program aimed at achieving inclusive education systems, which can be accomplished by assisting and training schools and other educational institutions to provide access to education for all children; by creating welcoming communities and inclusive teaching methods and curriculums, all of which necessitate specific approaches, positions, and solutions that our team is capable of designing, adapting, and implementing.
